• COPYEDITING: Copyediting is our most popular service, and it's what most people think of when
they hear the word "editing." Copyediting fixes your grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and
English mechanics. This service also formats your manuscript, including headings and citations, into
the style of your choice--APA, MLA, or Associated Press.
• CONTENT EDITING: Content editing is the next level of editing. Content editing includes everything involved in copyediting, but also corrects your logic, your structure, and your literary elements, if any--plot, characterization, dialogue, theme, tone. If copyediting fixes how you say things, content editing also fixes what you say. PLEASE NOTE: Content editing is not available on all projects. If your project is school-related, your school's academic honesty policy may prohibit content editing, especially on final projects. If you hire me for content editing and you are ineligible for it, I will charge you only for copyediting.
• CONSULTATION: If you're not done with your draft yet, but you still need help, consultation is for you! I offer full-service consultation (by phone, by email, by Skype, and sometimes in person) on everything from brainstorming and research to printing and binding. If your writing needs don't come with a page count, I can help you get where you need to go.
